What time does the stock market open? US stocks on the NYSE and Nasdaq open at 9:30am and close at 4pm New York time (ET), Monday to Friday, except market holidays (next: Thanksgiving Day, Thu 26 November). That's 7pm IST, 6:30pm PKT, 2:30pm WAT until 30 October.
