In Pakistan, US stocks open at 6:30pm and close at 1am PKT, after midnight. That holds until Fri 30 October 2026.
From Mon 2 November 2026: 7:30pm to 2am PKT (next day), because the clocks change.
The New York Stock Exchange's regular session, 09:30–16:00 New York time, runs 6:30pm to 1am PKT in Pakistan until 30 October 2026, according to TradingLookup's Market Clock (October 2026).

Daylight saving: why the US time moves in Pakistan
- New York's clocks go back an hour on Sunday 1 November 2026.
- New York's clocks go forward an hour on Sunday 14 March 2027.
- Pakistan doesn't change its clocks, so only New York's change moves the times: the US session starts an hour later in PKT from Monday 2 November 2026.

US market hours and your working day in Pakistan
On an 08:00–17:00 PKT working day (our convention, not a rule), until 30 October the US session opens 1 hour 30 minutes after it ends; from 2 November the US session opens 2 hours 30 minutes after it ends. The US close falls after midnight in Pakistan, so Friday's session ends early on Saturday morning.
