- Egypt's clocks go back an hour on Friday 30 October 2026, on a different date from New York's.
- Egypt's clocks go forward an hour on Friday 30 April 2027, on a different date from New York's.
Because the two changes fall on different dates, there's a short spell on Friday 30 October 2026 when the US opens at 3:30pm Egypt time, before going back to 4:30pm.

On an 08:00–17:00 Egypt time working day (our convention, not a rule), until 29 October the US session overlaps it from 16:30 to 17:00 (30 minutes); from 30 October the US session overlaps it from 15:30 to 17:00 (1 hour 30 minutes).
