How it works

  • The rulebest day ÷ total net profit ≤ the limit. Total counts every day, losing days included.
  • Extra profit neededbest day ÷ limit − total. Example: $1,150 ÷ 0.2 − $3,040 = $2,710.
  • Days to fix itextra needed ÷ your average winning day, rounded up (judged: real days vary).

Tomorrow's range (b best day, T total, p limit as a decimal)

  • Low end, Lb ÷ p − T. A smaller day leaves your best day too big a share.
  • High end, Up × T ÷ (1 − p). A bigger day becomes a new best that breaks the rule.
  • VerdictTomorrow passes between L and U. If L is above U, no single day fixes it. Within today: U is the most you can make, −L the biggest loss.

Edge cases

  • Total at $0 or belowThe rule can't be met yet: there is no profit to take a share of.
  • One dayThat day is 100% of your profit.
  • OneUp TraderYour next 3 best days must add up to 80% of your largest. Missing days count as $0 (our reading).

Limits. Some firms count by session, include commissions, reset after each payout, or measure against the profit target. Check your firm's terms.

Measured and judged. Firm limits are measured (dated, linked). Every ratio, amount and day count is our arithmetic (judged). The example days are made up.
