How we rank: rankings are not for sale
Every order, score or list on TradingLookup follows these six rules. If a page breaks one, tell us and we'll fix it.
The rules
- Data pages are alphabeticalUnless the order is a published mechanical count, like the Fine Print Index: firms by how many of 16 listed terms they state on the pages we read, each weighted equally.
- Commission never decides order or inclusionPaying us has no effect on where a firm appears, or whether it appears at all.
- No "best sellers" listsNever a list built from our own sales or clicks.
- No hidden paid placementAny paid placement will be labelled "Sponsored" and kept out of every score and ranking.
- No paying to be removed or to change a figureUse our right of reply: show us the page that proves we're wrong, and we'll correct the figure if so.
- Weights are published firstTerms and weights go on the page before any score goes live. Changes are dated there.
