Sydney Stones, data and method lead at TradingLookup

Sydney Stones leads data and method at TradingLookup. Former trader.

Former trader. First-class degree in Computer Science (University of Hull) and an MLitt in Management (University of St Andrews).

What I cover

The data side of the site: CFD loss rates and the brokers behind them, our open datasets (including the Crowd Gauge and Crowd Fear & Greed), the economic calendar, crypto exchange availability and UK licences, and the pages that explain how we check our numbers.

Why us. We're both former traders. Between us we've traded forex, index futures and crypto, so we've paid the fees, read the fine print and lived with the rules these tools check. For the last two years we've been building websites and data products, which is how we came to build the tools we wished we'd had.

Sydney Stones signs 114 pages on TradingLookup, in 6 sections: Brokers and CFD loss rates, Crowd Gauge and Fear & Greed, Open data, Economic calendar, Crypto exchanges and How we work.
